Kim Veilleux

Kim Veilleux

Born in Quebec City and now residing in Lévis, Kim spent his youth to create with his family. Clay enamels on copper, but never brush ...

Since its inception in painting in 2001, she paints her characters self-taught. His works are produced by instinct and spontaneity and it invents its own language, and nothing is "premeditated." His work evolved over the years guided by new techniques she explores continuously. On canvas from the beginning, his works are also characterized since 2012 by a technical transparency with stains on wood.

She constantly puts the challenge by designing different pictures of each other on new themes every year. For her, the most important thing is creativity! Sometimes a cook, sometimes violinist or skier all his characters make an imprint his artistic work of lightness and liveliness. Each picture is unique!

Recognized early in his career as a painter, several art galleries, his works have been exhibited throughout Canada and Europe. It is dedicated to his career as a painter full time since 2006.

Selected by the National Society of Fine Arts in Paris in 2010, his painting "Napoleon and Josephine" was chosen for the annual International exhibition of the same name and exhibited at the Carrousel du Louvre

His studio-gallery is currently in Lévis. (72 Côte du Passage)
